You Don’t Have To Do This Alone

A few months ago, I posted a question in the Women in Entrepreneurship Knoxville Facebook Group.

What do you wish someone had told you about entrepreneurship?

This is what they said:

  • How much work it takes
  • There isn’t a professional/social/family life balance anymore
  • It’s exhausting
  • How much you have to believe in yourself because the people who doubt you the most may be the ones who live with you
  • That all the fear and self-doubt are normal
  • Ask to be paid what you are worth the first time

In some ways, it has never been a better time to become an entrepreneur. To seek flexibility, financial freedom, to share your talents and play by your own rules.

And in some ways, it has never been a more challenging time to be an entrepreneur.

To find a way to differentiate yourself in an increasingly crowded market.

To make decisions every day when everything is different and the future feels so uncertain.

To build a business that allows you to thrive and not just survive.

At Whole You, we help people reclaim their power and their humanity through programs which support wholeness of self, business and community.

We seek to understand and hold each other and the collective from a place of wholeness: with grace, empathy, compassion, flexibility, curiosity, strength, endurance and resilience.

We believe that wholeness is the catalyst to reaching our full potential. It isn’t that life (or business) is easy . . . it’s that we have the skills, tools, resources and support we need to thrive and to continue to work toward the fulfillment of our purpose and potential despite the obstacles that cross our path.

The path to wholeness is not one and done. It is a process. A journey. It may not be a destination we will reach in this lifetime.

But the more I pursue it, the sweeter this life becomes. Or maybe it always was. Perhaps I am just better equipped to really see it, to be present, and to inhale the beauty along the way.

Wherever you find yourself on the spectrum from surviving to thriving whether in business or in life, I believe more wholeness is possible for you. And I would love to support you:

You don’t have to do it all alone.

Love,

Booth
